Southern boy are you a Link supporter?

I know that Mr. Link and Mrs. Kim Sams were an item not to long ago. It created controversy in the church.

The only reason his wife wont divorce him is because of her religion.

Actually, I just wanted an answer as to if charges had been made. It wouldnt suprise me but I wasnt sure which blogs to get the proper response.

It was then.

SmileyTD's web counter has a visitor tracker included. That means that she can track not only the visits to her website, but anywhere a visitor goes on the internet. Click the counter button and read what it says. She can even track several websites at the same time. So what if somebody visits her web site then goes and visits porn she will know. If they go to read their email she will know. She will know this has been done before it is published.

I doubt that Mr. Sams, Mrs. Harper or Mrs. Link would appreciate it much, either.

Just so I have this straight, though, is it fair to say that Anonymous doesn't attend the same church as Mrs. Sams and is starting/spreading a rumor based on gossip based on alleged infractions of which s/he has no personal firsthand knowledge?

cc deltacorporation

Feb. 28 am And speaking of County Commission candidates...... CCC challenger Jerry Linkinooooooger has a web site where he presents info for his political advantage. He mentions grants coming in left and right and their benefit to the county of Clay. Here's one from the USDA that needs highlighted from 2003: Clay County Board of Education; Clay, WV $500,000 Area(s) Served: Clay County Contact: Jerry Linkinogger (304) 587-4266; Fax: (304) 587-4181 Congressional District(s): 2nd The Clay County Board of Education will utilize grant funds to network local schools in Clay County with distance learning. The Clay County school district is composed of 7 schools (five elementary, one middle, and one high school), 2,133 end user site students, 175 faculty, and 10,300 community residents who will comprise the end user sites. Distance learning labs will be installed allowing more advanced courses and new classes to be taught within the network. Specialized teachers from a number of school districts will participate in the project which will provide a maximum benefit to students along with substantially reduced costs to the district. Each school has a technological coordinator to oversee local issues, with all seven collectively working together to make the overall project operationally successful.
Feb. 28 am Remember that one? Letters were mailed out telling us wireless internet was coming reaaal soon. $500,000 spent and can anyone see the benefit? Does anyone have wireless high speed internet compliments the $500,000 grant. Are the schools linked together? Can the computer labs be used for distant learning via wireless internet? Lots of hype back then but the answer is no. Just one more thing example of Federal dollars coming into Clayberry and POOF! All gone without intended results.
Feb. 28 am In the last edition of The Communicator we gave notice of that same guy collecting campaign funds by selling space in his little "We Support Link" cookbook. We centered attention on Link giving back those contributions because he started too early, before filing for office, a no no in W Va. County Commissioner Fran King was one of those contributors.
Feb. 28 am Last night Ms King referenced our article. According to King, Yes, she donated to the cookbook but was NOT told the cookbook was going to be used as campaign material. She said she felt others gave $ under the guise of publishing a cookbook in honor of school system cooks NOT to promote a candidate for office. She added that the Linkster was none too happy when word got out he was returning the $.
Feb. 28 am Hush Hush has been the mode for the school system for years. Just thinking back on that $500,000 grant and performance, maybe they do need to keep things quiet. Looks better that way!

According to the Bible, the 7 things the Lord hates are:
Proverbs 6:16-19
"There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to Him:
haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers."

Was anybody else appaled at the political display at the high school the other night. If that was to be a meet the candidate event all politicians should be invited. I believe the board of education needs to step in and put a stop to their employees running for political office and using the school resources for their gain. Brian Holcomb used his students when he was in there by giving them extra points for miscellaneous deeds and now Shawn and Link are doing the same thing. Step up and protect the kids because influence like this is the reason young adults do not vote and have no interest in the running of our country.

Now there is no way the BOE is gonna do that after all they are the biggest employer in the county and have the largest band of brown nosers this side of the Mississippi. I remember when school kids were allowed to vote and as many times as they wanted a few years back.. Good ole politics but I bet the Secretary of States office will have a field day in Clayberry before long compliments of a fellow I know pretty good.

Teaching Degree==== Brown Nose

There is an old saying that goes like this and I have found it more commendable in Clay County then anywhere else in the world.. The saying is this::::::: Those that can Do those that Can't Teach and have you ever noticed what a fat bunch of slobs teach in Clay County???? They are to friggin lazy to work a real job and as far as using their brains it must be in their A** cause thats flat also.. The only difference between Welfare and Teaching Degree you have to show up for your check and on welfare you just go to the post office... Look around you STUPID people on welfare got more then you have and they didn't get no degree and they did use THEIR BRAIN they stay at home and laugh when you go by going over to Clay to do a little SUCKING UP.... FOR WHAT. Sure makes you mad cause us WELFARE BUMS got ours the hard way... Went to the POST OFFICE

He will do great things for us in Charleston just ask him and he is our only hope because we are limited on brains and people skills in Clay County.

With Link retiring, will the suckees stay with him ( vote for him) or remember all the arm twisting they had to put up with over the years to keep in good graces?
Answers please

"Link is the most educated and knowledgeable man in Clay County" ????? LOL OMG, that's just too much!!

If that's the case, then before he leaves the Board, he needs to create a job for himself to be a Teacher's Teacher. God (& maybe Link, since he appears to be right up there with Him) only knows how some of them muddled through college. Then again, some of them do speak as well as the President, so maybe that's right in line with the federal guidelines.

Link, you better step in & put a stop to some of your fans here ...

Is there a write-in for county commissioner??

Well from the looks of the online poll it looks like Link and MP are runing a pretty tight race. Now whats suprising is it looks like DP and his moral issue over not giving that little boy to the grandparents has put the whammy on him also. Krajseki better get online and vote for himself as he has the goose egg after his name. Maybe after Monday when all the school teachers are online him and Link might get some votes...Seems the people visiting the site ain't as DUMB as Link and Tanner thot......

A few things to consider:

Since the BOE is the largest employer in the county; I guess that makes for a lot of brown noses, as you so kindly put it. It seems since they employ so many, you should be thankful for the salaries that feed so many. Let's see, AW has seven sister/brother in-laws gathering paychecks and feeding him, which allows him to play.

Secondly, the online survey is more than a little lopsided since the majority of folks who look at this blog are anti everything related to education and the quality of service provided by public servants.

Thirdly, education is the key to help your children have a productive future. Based on the comments here lately, there is little confidence in the teachers in our county. If you are that unhappy, do one of two things. Either spend a little money and go to college, get a teaching degree, and apply for a position. The second option is to move. Either of those sure beats the tongue lashing that has been going on here. Do something or shut up!

For the record, I am not employed by the BOE. However, I am educated AND employed!

Are there shennagins that happen in Clay County? Sure!!! Are there in other places? You better believe it. Clay Bd. of Ed., Clay PSD, on and on, have issues, that's for sure. I've seen them first hand and shuddered. You know what? I've seen them at higher, bigger, more serious places. Folks, this kind of stuff is just that -- stuff. It goes on everywhere. What we should be asking if how can we make a difference instead of just throwing blame.

The schools in our county have some great teachers and administrators as well as mediocre/bad teachers and administrators. Piersons has some good lumbermen and some bad ones, I'm sure. Walmart has some good cashiers and some bad ones. I guess we could just boycott the world.

That'll show them!!

Ah spoken like true blue BOE workers in disguise as anons. Yep our kids need a good education and like any politician or BOE worker lets all praise the teachers and get another Tax Hike of somekind.. I been here along time and all I have ever heard is how good the education is here.. Now lets see 1950,60 and 70's we had better education in West Virginia and better roads.. Along came the three r's education (readin riten and route 21(77) north. up went property taxes... Then came mo better education in the 80's 90's and the start of 2000's with mo better roads to go with them.. only thing that changed in either of the three r's was route 77 as it goes south now.. Get that better education for your youngun's parents get their tickets now before the rates go up.By the way I do have a job and work also. I go to the Post Office, get my food stamps and welfare check and drive up to the bank once a month. I was edumacated rite here in good ole Clay County and the teachers nowadays wouldn't make a pimple on a good teachers A**. Teacher is just another word for DEADBEAT

Andy Waddell is the smartest man in Clay County maybe we could get him a job over at the BOE so he would have to fall into the subjection of "foller the leader" or "let someone else think for him" now wouldn't that be a switch Andy sucking up.

I, too, am educated and employed. Why? Because I had some excellent - and I do mean EXCELLENT - teachers as I went through the ranks of Clay County schools. They not only taught me the basic fundamentals, they made d*amn sure I had the wherewithal to at least try to meet my full potential & gave me the means to do it. Where are those teachers now? A lot of them are still in the Clay County school system & I pray to God my children get every blessed one of them. Especially the English teachers because there are none better.

I attended Dulls Creek, Clay Elementary & Valley Fork, so it can't be said that one school was better than another back then because I got the same quality at every one of them. The teachers CARED. If a student was failing, they accepted that as their own failure & did everything humanly possible to help that student. You still find that in a lot of teachers today, both young and "seasoned." It only takes 1 bad - or semi-not-good - teacher to ruin a good thing, though.

That or the federal government stepping in & saying, "Hey, this way of doing things that's worked for 100 years needs fixing. Let's muck up everything & call it the No Child Left Behind Act & pat ourselves on the backs for being so smart!!"

The whole educational system is screwed up & even if every one of us complaining about it became a teacher, it wouldn't make an iota of difference because the "guidelines" would remain the same.

The system isn't going to get any better until the government unties the hands of the teachers who truly want to educate, the budget isn't based on test results that are skewed to the moon & back & the slackers are eliminated from the payroll.

Good teachers always wonder if they're doing a good job; bad teachers will tell you what a good job they're doing. Ones who care will find ways to teach around the guidelines yet stay within them; ones who don't will recite you chapter & verse of the entire Act.

& yes, I do have issues with the public school system. It's a character flaw I've recognized, acknowledged & learned to embrace.

The survey link that you requested is not valid. Please contact the survey design publisher.....Well guess Link found out he ain't the redeemer his butt wipe thot he was so he removed the big voting poll so he wouldn't get farther behind or he didn't want the people in the county to know he was going nowhere in the election. How many votes was it he got out of 26.... was that a 5 I saw out by his name with 19 voting for Sams and 2 for MP. Man what a dumb bunch of people in Clay County huh Link??? No Child Left Behind.
NCLB

They should call it what it really is.

No Child Gets Ahead.
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 10:28 AM, March 06, 2006

No Child Gets Ahead, but by golly, those smarty-pants whippersnappers won't make MY kid look stupid anymore!!

The NCLB Act says that no child can move to the next level until s/he has reached "Mastery" of subject. That means that if a child has the IQ of a rock, the teacher is forced to give her/him as many chances as it takes for her/him to achieve perfection. Where does that leave the children who have already achieved "Mastery"?? No, that's not a rhetorical question; I really want to know. Is there ANYBODY out there who can justifiably defend the NCLB Act & explain where any of it makes sense?

Once upon a time, you could separate the kids into distinct groups & the ones who soared were allowed to do so. The plodders all had to plod together. That's oh-so-taboo these days, so the plodders & the soarers must all trudge along at the same pace.

Instead of No Child Left Behind, it should be Dumb 'em All Down And Go Home.

Obviously, the authors of the NCLB Act must have less-than-stellar children.
# posted by Blogger ROSE : 11:34 AM, March 06, 2006

NCLB is the product of people who have no idea what it like to be in a classroom. People with no concept of what it takes to teach; the importance of individuality, or how kids learn.

That's my two cents worth.

RE: Your last post.

You're exactly right.

It's like having a team of horses pulling a wagon, but some of the horses are energetic, ready to go, and some are lazy, lethargic,or just don't want to.

You could possibly put the best horses in front, so they could pull at their best, hoping that they would at least give the others the idea, but no- you have to put them behind, so that the slow useless ones set the pace.

What kind of productivity or progress are you going to get out of this team?

Are you getting my analogy here?

Now project that idea to a society OUR society, in say-

10 years.

Now 20.

Now 50.

Now.....nevermind.

I'm gonna copy & paste this every chance I get. BAHAHAHAHAHA

I think, even if the best horses are pulling up the rear, they should at least be staring at the rears of the lead horses & not be eyeball to eyeball with them.

Think about it.

morning y'all; the survey, big news. "BUT" have you really been reading the blogs & news.
1. it was said that DP got the timber from the new school site. wonder what the purchase price was. wonder if it was support of LINK in the election. wonder how much of the "GAY" ccommunity will be dragged along with DP.
2. this weeks Fr**pr*** mentions a trip to VA by M.A. Triplett and N. Waddell for a gear up conference. whatever that is.
3. $2,660,000. did it go to the IRS? or was it siphoned off as a campaign fund.
are these items meant to influrnce the election?
BY 1. buying the support of DP and the GAY persons in the county.
\ 2. by influencing P. & M. T'lett
3. by silencing A.W.
4. $2,660,000 where is it?

C. Cititzen: If you had any earthly idea about education, you would know what Gear Up is and how it is meant to assist with the college going/conpletion rate in our county.

anon 10:19 c citizen; i'm just a po country boy. can' seem to unnerstan all them fancy words. didn't get no college education. won't have a vote for two more days caus our corrupt judicial system put me in prison to cover up for a gov. official trying to extort money from me.
like link and his freemason buddies they take care of each other. it is said "if you control the law enforcenent and the money you control the people.
odd that the only complaint you found was that i didn't understand the phrase "gear up" as used in this context.
i can gear up a vehicle never learned how to gear up two women. never could handle one. so do you have any comments about the other things spoke of.

Just like the old saying, after a couple of years in the joint they would rather hear a small boy FART than a pretty woman sing. Heck most of them don't have to be in the joint to want the joint in them!
