Election Signup Starts Monday Morning at 8:00AM

On the Ticket is County Clerk Connie Workman Is up for relection she took the place of Judy Moore who retired in 2005 after 34+ years in the Clerk's office Connie Workman a 24+ year veteren employee was appointed her sucesser .

County Commission district C is up Jimmy Sams is up for relection. Suppose to run is James (Jimmy) Sams, Melissa Posterwait, Jerry Linkinogger and not running is Rose M Cantrell the pretty one of the bunch. Look for a bunch to run for this office.

School board has 3 spots up Dave Pierson full term district B. Kim Sams unexpired term district A. Beth Cercone uexpired term district C. Schoolboard is confusing you can elect 2 from district A and 1 from C, 2 from A 1 from B, or as it is now 1 From A,B,C.

Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935 in Tupeio, Mississippi to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room house. His twin brother, Jessie Garon, was stillborn, leaving Elvis to grow up as an only child. He and his parents moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1948, and Elvis graduated from Humes High School. In 1954, he began his singing career with the legendary Sun Records label in Memphis. In late 1955, his recording contract was sold to RCA Victor.
