NEW SCHOOL INFORMATION

The WV School Building Authority announced last December that Clay County Schools had been awarded funding to begin planning for a new school construction project for the Ivydale and Valley Fork school service areas. The $4.5 million project is expected to be completed in September 2007. Earlier in the summer, the Clay County Board of Education completed the purchase of 15 acres of property at Big Otter, WV. The property was purchased from Larry and Chuck Boggs with the option to develop and purchase additional acreage.

The Pierson Lumber Company and J. B. Logging are currently working to remove trees from the property so that excavation work can begin. The Clay County Board of Education is hopeful that foundation work can begin sometime after July 1, 2005. In the meantime, the Clay County Board of Education has been conducting interviews with potential architects. Once the board has selected an architect, community meetings will be scheduled with residents and teachers of the Valley Fork and Ivydale School service areas to help design the school.

Students in the new school service area will benefit from a "state of the art" facility

I wasn't there at H.E, White Sat but talked to some who were there the whole time. So my question to you anony about Connie who was there to talk to. Hell Shawn broke up a Samples marrage, went out with his current wife while engaged to another, Tg dosen't believe in Christmas, nevers talkes to anyone except now he running, and Cathy married into the wrong family and not from here.

You go don I too would like to know, but would also like to know what he got from the IRS worth $2.6 million yep thats dollars folks and after all Link did squander over $18,000,000.00 over his 11 yr tenor and now he wants you to vote for him. All them people supporting Republicans are pretty smart people if you ask me. Took a bunch of Dumb Democrats to put Bush in office cause after all Wv is a Democrat State.
