This Memorial Day we give honor and remembrance to the
memory of those who have fought and died to save our homes,
protect our families, preserve our way of life and insure freedom.

May the sacrifice of those fallen in service to this
country never be forgotten and freedom never be forfeited.

Happy Memorial Day
God Bless You And The USA

Everybody wants to clean out the elected officials in Clay County? Where the H*** were you on Election Day last month? 1800 voters turned out. Now go check the records and see how many work, retired or have family working for the BOE. All but around 40 people per precinct and thats the largest precincts in the county. Pretty sorry for a county with 6800 voters registered. Shame more people voted from accross the road from the high school then any precinct in the county. You can't clean house without the main ingredient. Its called MANPOWER and without it you can only WHINE about it on the blog. Try voting next time your county government is the only thing you will ever have a chance to make a change in the rest don't matter as they control everything that happens to the citizens in that county.

I have proof that dead people have voted in election's. After an election go to the court house look at the voting record and checkthe recored deaths in the past 2 years. I did that, also got copy's. Also watch the week before and see when the ballot boxes leave the court house. Where do they go?? Probally when the dead vote.

I feel sorry for the people who were running against Connie Workman and the election was run from her office.

Why wasn't that thing move upstairs at the courthouse. It has been in the past when that situation comes up.

Plus you had 3 weeks of the Gill's running the election during early voting. Wasnt that the same Gills who had signs in their yard supporting Connie and on the side of their vehicles driving them around Clay. And didn't one of the Gills run for some type of committee. Against the rules. Call the Secretary of States office and ask them. They will tell you the same thing.

Clay County Politics at it's best. You gotta love it.

Name the only office in the courthouse and almost in the whole county of Clay that did not send a thank you out to the graduates of Clay County High School...You guessed it...The Judy Moore....I mean the County Clerks Office.

The "NO CLASS" office in the courthouse.

The "You Need an Appointment" office to see me now that election is over with.

Just remember there will be other elections and "experience counts" aint gonna matter this time.

"Personality Counts" would be a good motto to run on next time. Oh! That would be a lie.

Is all of your brains made of cement. For one thing the reason that the early voting was done in the county clerks office was because the STATE of WV changed the WV State Code stating that the County Clerks office would handle all elections. (I read it in the Gazette and heard it on the news) Another thing if the Gills have such influence why did Jimmy Sams not get elected. Oh I get it they just but up signs and campaign their ass off for nothing. Why don't you use your brain - you think the clerk office should hold election only when they are not running. How about the election that the Circuit Clerk, COunty Clerk, Assessor and Sheriff all run. Oh I get it the county should hire some brilliant mind like you if you can get you lazy ass off the couch from collecting your check long enough.

You're right. It was Clayberry politics at its best May 9th. The blue bloods were unable to get anything they wanted. Nothing. They wanted a Senator surrounded by a felon campaign manager and business partner. They started rumors on Sen Randy White and White won by over 2000 votes and carried Clay big time.
they wanted to keep Jimmy Sams and his bash of the consitution and that failed too.
The Courthouse crowd wanted Workman out of there because they couldn't control her. Workman won two to one.
Voters count in Clay. The back room deals and dealers of old are gone.
GOOD!

You must be blind in one eye and unable to see out of the other to think thats how politics work in Clayberry. The trade was Avis for county clerk one more term, Link in Sams out Krajeski held off and one term Petey,Franny and Randy out the door and just a start of blublood control after a loss of power for over ten years. The only question is will Kraukulis or Sirk the jerk gonna be the next assessor. We already know Dave Mullins will be the next Sheriff, Dave (queer lover) Pierson (Mex worker to be soon) for Commission. The only one who lost out on all the work performed was Krajeski after Doc Boggs turned on TG.
