One thing for sure the three county commissioners we have now always act in public like they like their job and like each other. If you see them in the courthouse or at the lake they speak to everyone improtant or unimportant and they laugh and compliment the county and each other. So like Hippy says why change something that is not broken!!!

So ... if Jimmy wins the election, where does that leave the global brain-wash that's supposedly in place to insure the current school system is eventually running the whole county??

Even hear that saying that opinions are like buttholes? Everyone has one. Now here is mine.

Things I have noticed about MP: she don't take crap off of anyone, she seems concerned about the local community, of all three candidates she is the only one that let the public ask her questions for the radio show, she has gone and will go out of her way to help anyone whether she personally likes them or not (my mom was one of them she helped for nothing and without wanting recognition).

From the radio show interview I could see that she has a vast amount of great ideas for improving the communities and making Clay grow.

Again, my opinion but definately not a vote wasted. If she doesn't win, then the ones that didn't vote for her will have to live with who they picked and when that person sits around and does nothing to better anything, I can say I told you so.

Now that is the question???? From long time observing Clay County and very few changes ever made I can say that we have a Clay County Commission that gives (We The People) at least a say in governing the county. This is the first time in 50 years Andy Starchers Rule is not surviving and its a little overdue that county,state and federal governments give the people a say instead of turning that deaf ear and blind eye to the peoples concern.

her fee to run was paid for by parties unknown to fragment the vote. After all she is a self declared pauper isn't she?

Well speaking of voting: All the people across the road from the High School voted this year but I see none of them used Clay Memorial Gardens as their address. Most did use 1498 Clay Highway though

So all in all which candidate got shafted the most by the political strongholds in the county?
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 1:38 PM, May 12, 2006

CW=connie workman
RH=Randy Holcomb
FK=Fran King
PT= Peter Triplett
PawnK=Shawn(the Pawn) Krajeski
MA= Mike Ashbury and
These are the ones jeopardized in the trading and I would say the biggest loss will be to RH,CW FK, PT. With the biggest surprise going to RH as he lobbied for Link with the BOE workers.
