Jimmy Duffield just told me that he is coming to the next county commission meeting and ask the county commission for his tax dollars back that they spent on those sighs at Simpson Lake. Jimmy said that Sheriff Randy Holcomb agreed with him and was going to ask the commission to refund Jimmys taxes since they were spending his money for foolishness>

We had a CCHS teacher date and take to the prom a student. That guy later went on to become Superintedent.
We had a CCHS chemistry teacher date a high school sweetie and he went on to get elected to the school board.

the Boyd/Young suit should be real interesting. if i recall the communicator tied them with Cleveland and they have also been in court in Lorraine, O hio. They ran Gail out of her position as head coach. said her hang me down was not long enough. Now they have a "petifile" or soon to be coaching. You should have saw him hanging on one of his players last year that played for him at the middle school. Now he is coaching his girlfriend in volleyball. What is that I smell???? Friends of Gillespie need to make sure he knows this. Obviously, his predecessor didn't. Hopefully, the new super won't be the one in violation.

In 1996 the public service commission deregulated in WV. prior to 96 if a person had a complaint with a public service such as towing in Clay Co. they got in touch with the PSC in Charleston. After 96 it was handed down to each county to handle the complaints. At that time M Bragg had the duties on the Clay Co. comm. to handle the complaints. I called the PSC and know this for a fact. Now that Miss King was appointed to the commission, and had she assumed M Bragg' duties, it seems as though there would be a slight problem. In this case if a person had a complaint to file, they would have to file the complaint with the person they were fileing about. 9/11 happend at just the opertune time to create this job, end result no conflect of interst on the ccc part. The only alternitive would of been the ccc had put the 911 duties on one of the others being either Pete or Jimmy. See how this worked out for all involved. A toll free call to the Wv. public service comm. will verify it.

I agree the reason we have the Ronnie and Donnie Welches, the H.T. Tanners and the Young boys is because their parents did not care enough or take the time to discipline their children. They had their kids either as a mistake or to increase their check. It they kept them till they were 18 at $500+ a month think how much money they made before the taxpayers get to keep them the rest of their life at $48.50 a day in jail. Do you think years ago when Betty and Frank Murphy was told the actions of Sam if they had disciplined him their life and Sam's may be different. Spare the Rod and Spoil the child. Neglect is child abuse and when you neglect to teach your children right from wrong you should be bunished. Beating until they cannot walk is wrong but making your point known is a necessity.
