At least Link dresses up for the occasion. Pete looks as if he just got out of bed and Fat Fran looks like she is ready to explode in her tight clothing.

The way I see it the first three anonymous's are the same person, probably Andy Waddell, But then again Andy would not say anything bad about Peter or anything good about Link but why pick on Fran at least she is at the courthouse everyday and everyone that I have heard of that has had a problem she has tried to help. So are you jealous or what?

whoa boy, I ain't AW. I don't say nothin' bout Fran. look and see bout that thong bird.

It aint "crackin" on somebody when your just stating the facts. Fran is fat. Not talking about it aint going to make her any skinnier.

Link's wife dresses him. She makes him wear womens underwear.

Maybe Pete did just get out of bed. With your wife.

AW rocks. His own world.

The Bloggers on this site are childish you should sit back and realize the image you give of yourself and Clay County to the rest of the world. I live several time zones away and cannot believe the ignorance of some individuals to even refer to someone as "fat" A lot of people I know sure appreciated her when she was fighting for their gas. Use and loose I believe that is an old CLay County Saying.

Sorry sucker you guessed wrong and Pete don't do women. If he just got out of bed it definitly wasn't a woman. So there.
Fran is not fat either its just her ego trying to bust the seams of them overgrown clothes she wears and as far as being at the courthouse everyday its called " The Big I little You syndrome."

The way I hear it is that Andy and Peter are a couple. I wonder who is on top?

The rest of the world looks beyond the color of the skin or the shape of the body but in Clay we are still in the 1950's and 1960's. It is a sad state when one judges go harshly. Judge not lest ye be judged.

Pete's had more women then AW even dreams of.

In the 50s and 60s, people didn't have time to sit around and get fat. They didn't have computers.

If this blog is giving an image to the world, George needs to pick up some advertisers.

What did you people play with before the internet? Yourself?

The rest of the world does a lot of things thats not right but that doesn't mean what they do I have to do. I was raised a little different then the rest of the world myself and because somebody jumps off a building doesn't mean I need to climb up and follow suit.

The reason I live in this part of the world is because of the rest of the world is so fast paced that it doesn't have time to stop and take a look at whats going on around them. Because they are doing something doesn't make it right. If they want to shoot down people in the street let them go right after it but around here you shoot at someone or try holding them up like over in Huntington or Charleston you would last one time I figure and there would be singing on the hillside and you won't hear a word of it.

fran king is in it for one person. and that is fran king. she is as two faced as any individual you will ever meet. did she get this gas thing fixed?? i assume she got "publicity" out of it. plus she did not have any choice, the problem was going on in her own back yard. any person who would beat on their own child has absolutely no business getting credit for anything.

If you dont believe she kicked her child around, guess again!!!!

I usually just read this blog and laugh at the ignorance but lately all of you take the cake. You sit and be critical of how flawed the "outside world" is and demand them to respect you, yet, you sit here and write trash that is on a world wide net for everyone to read
and 99% of it is not even close to the truth for everyone to see.How could anyone respect a community that thinks no more of their own people than to write such trash about them put it on a world wide web for everyone to see.

Do you ever wonder why state politicians never want to help Clay County? Take a good look at what is written on these sites and you have your answer! People in Charleston read this on a dailey basis and have no disire to help a community that shows how little respect they have for its own citizens let alone someone who is trying to help.

You think you are being cute and funny putting little cheap shots at the people you dont like ,yet, in the meantime you show the whole world how stupid you really are!

I hope this site does not represent the essance of what the people of Clay County has become because it truely means Clay County is destined to be only one thing... a place where the people demand from the government what they never earned, but somehow believe they deserve!

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social
Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be
completely voluntary,

2.) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
incomes into the Program,

3.) That the money the participants elected to put
into the Program would be deductible from
their income for tax purposes each year,

4.) That the money the participants put into the
independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the
General operating fund, and therefore, would
only be used to fund the Social Security
Retirement Program, and no other
Government program, and,

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees
would never be taxed as income

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are
now receiving a Social Security check every month --
and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of
the money we paid to the Federal government to "put
away" -- you may be interested in the following:
-------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the
independent "Trust Fund" and put it into the
General fund so that Congress could s pend it?
A: I t was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically
controlled House and Senate.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax
deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?

A: The Democratic Party.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social
Security annuities????
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the
"tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the
Senate, while he was Vice President of the US.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving
annuity payments to immigrants?

This is MY FAVORITE:

A: That's right! Jimmy Carter! And the Democratic Party of course!
Immigrants moved in to this country, and at age 65,
began to receive Social Security payments! The
Democratic Party gave the s e payments to them,
even though they never paid a dime into it!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, after doing all this lying and thieving and violating
of the original contract (FICA), the Democrats
turn around and tell you that the Republicans
want to take your Social Security away!

And the worst part about it is uninformed
citizens believe it!

Once again, I don't know what's going on over here, either.

Anon @ 8:15, your concern is touching, but I'd venture to guess that the "people in Charleston" are more insulted by your underestimation of their intelligence than they are concerned about the personal opinions expressed on these pages. Do you really think the "people in Charleston" base all decisions concerning Clay on what's being said on the blogs?

Ignorance can be educated; stupid is permanent.

Let me quantify that statement I just made: When someone has already made the news, AWs site is full of their name(s) & they have their own website portraying a certain image, the "people in Charleston" do, indeed, tend to pay attention.

I doubt the day-to-day BS registers, though.

are you saying, Rose, that it doesn't do us citizens any good to gripe or us veterans any good to think and say we have rights, that the assholes who do get elected are not going to hear us unless we can slip something under the table to them. Did you say that?
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 9:32 AM, March 31, 2007

No, Red Neck, that's not what I'm saying at all. In fact, that's not even what I wrote.

If you will simply read the words as they appear on the screen and put no other spin on them - personal or otherwise - you will see that what I'm saying is that no major decisions concerning Clay County are based solely on this or any other website.

STOP! That's all I said. That's all I'm saying. You can gripe, express your thoughts & feelings, etc etc etc until you fall over dead - in fact, you should - but if you're only going to do it here, in this forum, you'd just as well go ahead & fall over now.

AND NOW ABOUT ZONING.If FRAN AND PETE VOTES yes THEN WHAT.
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 11:32 AM, March 31, 2007

Fran and Pete are not voting for zoning If you would come out of your hollow or off of your hill the county commission on 1991 voted this ZONING in then. Why did you not object then? Oh lets see at least these 3 commissioners bring it out in the open so the public knows what is going on not like the 91 guys did. Have you not figured out by reading the free Press that Clinton is in favor of our 3 newbies changing the orginance because that relieves him of the mistakes as a commissioner he did in 91. OH OH You idiots did not put 1 and 1 together? Maybe our new guys need some support for trying to fix a problem before we all are in trouble. Get some facts. Don't believe me see if CLINTON NICHOLS did not sign the 91 ZONING ordinance as President of County Commission.
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 3:01 PM, March 31, 2007

You are all sadly mistaken if you think that what people hear and read about Clay County in other parts of the state has no effect on the way they think of us. How fast would the gas problem have been solved it was another small county such as Braxton.Would have been lightning fast I bet!!

It all had a lot to do with the outside worlds opinion of us!!
Thats a fact!!
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 3:46 PM, March 31, 2007

I don't think Clinton Nichols was a commish in 91 as I recall standing in front of Ronnie Haynes, Jerry Bird and RT Sizemore and stating the fact that we did not need the crap in this county or in this state. It boils down to communism at its best to tell you what you can or can't do on your own land. Paying the freaking rent on it every year is bad enough.

Giving any person the athority to tell you what to do in your own domain is a sad way to have FREEDOM taken from you. Clinton Nichols only stated the facts as no more federal grants will come in if we didn't have an ordinance in place. To enforce it is another thing because some people can't see past the end of their nose would be the only reason to enforce it in the first place.

Like someone else said come out of that hollow or mountain top and quit reading newpapers to know whats going on in the county. Thats why ignorant laws get passed to begin with as noone shows up to protest anything and just let them do what they want when they want and how they want. The ordinance was only revised in 1991 it was set in place in 1975
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 7:37 PM, March 31, 2007

The revision was actually in 1990
and signed by Clinton Nichols. The copy I received from the county clerk has his signature.

I suppose it is ok to pass an ordinance and tell the government we will enforce it in order to receive millions of dollars for water, bridges and infasructure only to ignore it when they arent looking. If I didnt know better it kind of looks like stealing!!HMMMM
I guess this is only ok in Clay County, home of the honest people!!!

I for one don't need anyone to tell me how or where I can build a shack or mansion. I have enough sense to know if I am going to spend my money building I want the best that I can get. I have no intention of building something where it will be flooded nor do I intend to build on post the way it was done a hundred years ago.
I don't need a surveyor to tell me the water might come up sometime in the next hundred years and I don't need flood insurance for any reason.
This whole ordinance thing is pushed by insurance companies just like the under insured and uninsured insurance was even though they say only the Federal Flood Insurance is in effect. Its all about MONEY.
In order to build a home if it is passed it will cost you around $750.00 just in permits alone and the survey fee if you can find a surveyor that will come out for $250.00. So far a surveyor won't do anything for less then $500.00 that I can find. That drives the price up to $950.00 and I haven't left the courthouse as of yet. I have built homes of my own and for others and a $1000.00 off my investment is alot of dollars I can spend elsewhere for my benefit not the county coffers.
As far as grants go I can't see anywhere that a grant has done a thing for me. Not the first thing.
You can say grants fund many things around here but I have driven the same holes in the road, the same broken down bridges for over 40 years and not a thing has changed except the higher taxes I pay for gas and other things I purchase. That gas tax along with lottery money is supposed to go to roads and bridges, therefore I have done my fairshare for the tax purpose. Grants are just extra money stolen from taxpayers for politicians to stuff their pockets with or to pat each other on the back with when they stand around bragging about what I got done.
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 8:57 AM, April 01, 2007

I wonder, how many grants have come into the county as a result of this flood plain being passed in 1975. If any Iwonder where the money went. It has been my observation that all grant money coming into the county is , some how, shuffled into the goat[FREEMASON] clique. they and their families nearly always soak up the majority of the money. This is a tax exempt lodge that you help support. since they don't pay taxes your and my taxes are higher.
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 9:11 AM, April 01, 2007

It is $25 f**king dollars for the permit, once in your life time unless you are in a flood zone. 90% of you bitching are not even in a flood zone so shut up. I sat there at that meeting and the men on both sides of me stood up and made ignorant remarks about the ordinance yet after the meeting theses same two wanted to know why the county will not make individuals clean up around their homes and get rid of junk cars. Do you understand why? The real clincher was when a bus driver from the top of blue knob threated the county commissioners if one of them vote for this they will never be elected again yet a levy had just passed to keep his ass in a job. I have build several homes also and you are an idiot or you would know that $25 is all that you will pay at the courthouse and if you would build a home in a flood plane #1 you could not sell it to anyone unless we have this ordinance to get flood insurance or a bank CANNOT finance it. #2 If you build a home in a flood zone and rent it you are LIABLE and if it floods YOU are will be held liable in a court of law for the contents of the home and the lives of the individuals occupying it. Talk to your lawyer or insurance company and try to prove me wrong. Another brainchild wanted the county to withdraw from the floodplain program. You cannot do that and still be offered flood insurance or be elgible for grants. To the idiot on this blog who has never seen a dollar of grant money benefit him. I guess you never drive on I 79, cross the Pisgah or Duck bridge or the new Dundon Bridge, and many other small ones up Sycamore, on Peach Orchard, Widen, and thru out the county. You children or children in your family never attended a county school or rode a bus or ate a meal, You never go to the courthouse that was build with grant money. I do not agree with it but I do not agree with a lot of government decisions however at least tell the facts straight and do not lie like Andy. And as far a you Burley Bragg you just have a hard on for the free masons.

You the stupid one that shoots the mouth off before you engage your brain had better read the ordinance cover to cover again and see that there is nowhere in there that says you pay a $25.00 permit fee only. That is BS that Fran said she would like to see written in there and not a word of it in the ordinance about a one time fee for life. It states " any substantial construction must have a permit, survey, and several other fees" before construction is started. And accordingly I was at both meetings when it was stated by Perry, Beets and the CCC the necessary permitting and the cost was also stated by the assessors office. As far as bridges and such throughout the county or state matching funds are furnished by the state and federal funds not grants but taken from taxes paid for by fuel buyers.
Furthermore you don't have the sense to know that once a law is passed it doesn't matter if you are in the flood plain or setting on the highest hill the ordinance says that if you build without the permits elevation survey the County OES director can make you, The Idiot tear it down or be torn down at your expense as it will be declared a Public Nuisance. Also it falls on the contractor that builds it to make sure ALL the Permits and survey are in place before construction begins.
The only ones I know of that will be exempt from anything and everything are the ones on welfare as usual.

Had it not been for Jerry Linkinogger Pete and Fran were ready to pass the trash and not tell a soul about it until it was to late. Again Thanks Jerry for bringing it to the attention of the people in Clay County and also letting people know how schemes are conducted while we the taxpayer looks on thinking those we trusted to office were protecting our better interest. Its a shame that courthouse jobs are passed on to the selected few without making the public aware of the openings. I am sure that other people would be interested besides the familys employed by the county already.

I guess we should have voted for Andy,he could save the world starting in Clay County.Just a fling of his magic wand and a spell from his Back Seat Political Drivers Handbook, then, we would pay no more taxes that fund our county and schoolsystem,no more grants for nonparticipation in government programs which is a magor chunk of any development in Clay County. Then in time due to the decline in our infrastructure we may be put on the extra-extreme blighted area list that would be created and then everyone would be eligible for welfare and government assistance.Thatta Boy Andy, better turn in your fairy fix-it-all costume and come up with a new plan!!!

Where is infrastructure in Clay County? As you say Clay is the blight area of the world already so nothing anyone does will change that. We are in the worst shape of all third world countrys and Welfare is the only thing keeping Clay County alive. We have the highest unemployed, the highest welfare rate, the highest Teen pregnacy, highest rate of property value decline, least amount of educational benefits, poorest roads, worst mainline bridges, and not a beer joint or strip club in site. So much for infrastructure. I guess the stateroad garage needing a bridge built so they can move the gravel pile is infrasture at its best but only in Clayberry.

GIVE ME A BREAK ALREADY

You could put 30 new businesses in Clay and they'd all go under in a month because Clay Countians are too poor to keep them open. The last figures I saw said clay county had a population of around 10,000, and only a little over 2,000 were employed. What a bunch of losers. There's only so much a commission can do when they're citizens are too lazy to work for a living and do their part in keeping the economy going. I think until more people in clay decide to get off welfare, they don't deserve to have any new businesses open.
# posted by Anonymous Anonymous : 9:02 AM, April 03, 2007

AMEN TO THAT!!

And its not just Clay County.
Its the whole state and the whole nation.

We'd be better off with Communism.

At least with that, EVERYBODY works and contributes.

What we've got is Welfare-ism.
The working few supporting- sustaining the loafing majority.

Make a pass through the town of Clay in the middle of the day sometime. The street is full of people who are just killing time, fking off, blowing their "Hep" check.
Go by the "Project Apartments" and look at all the 16 to 20 somethings hanging around, doing nothing. Maybe watching their own kids, growing into the next generation of societal leeches.

And AW wants to persecute the working people by publishing their wages.
They aren't Bob Graham.

Public record isnt necessarily public business.

I say publish every welfare and SSI recepient,
AND
MAke them pass a drug test to qualify for their "Hep Checks."

Pitiful. No,... Disgusting!

well now there are different opinions. while i agree with some of your points we do have some differences. having tried and failed to establish a business in Clay co. First if the upper class of leaches in clay co discover you have money the first thing they do is run to the bqank and look at your account to see how much. i'm speaking of the past . things have changed some but the board of directors at the local banks still have access to your bank account.
having this knowledge the leaches[freemasons] set out to fleece you in any way they can. their main weapon is to boycott you take your money and send you on your way if they can. of course they try to do this secretly without you knowing who is causing your problems. this bunch of bloodsuckers like to have people to look down on. so the majority of people are kept on welfare and being on welfare their vote can be controlled. any independents and politically incorrect people were/are driven from the county, if possible. gotta go folks. get my zapper and my shazam cape and go out and defend these baa-baa-baaaaaaad people.

Infrastructure (n.) - The basic facilities, services, and installations needed for the functioning of a community or society, such as transportation and communications systems, water and power lines, and public institutions including schools, post offices, and prisons.

Ok, now y'all go ahead & talk. But if you're going to argue, at least sound like you know what you're talking about.

Infrastructure (n.) - The basic facilities, just about sums up what anon 7:44 AM, April 03, 2007 was talking about. That about all we have in Clayberry is basics. One horse telephone service rates right up there with the worst that can be, and the internet services are the slowest in the world in case noone else has noticed.
Bridges are most noticeable with weight limits to 16,000 lbs and under, with a drop on both ends of the bridge. To say the least Clayberry has the barest of necessities. InfraSHAME is what it is.

Let's try saying something nice for 24 hours or not saying anything. I bet this county cannot do that. Is that not what we teach our children then look at their role models.

It is raining it is a nice day to read a book.

Upon the grass.
I enjoy my hands
Upon your ass.

I enjoy the sun
Upon the trees.
I enjoy your sister
Down on her knees.

I enjoy the birds
Back from the South.
I enjoy the things
You do with your mouth.

I enjoy just being
Alive and well.
I hope tomorrow
Is just as swell.

For your information I don't have to go to work anymore and when I was working I would have been on the job almost 4 hours by 7:44 A.M. and most days I put in a double shift usually 6 days in a row so don't think for a second I don't know what work is about.

Just think my foodstamps and check don't get to the Post Office that early so why would I want to be up?

So a railroad is what we need but they are a lot of things you need to know about a railroads. Like it mite be a big hole to dump money into.It will line the pockets of few but help the county not.A railroad dont make money it costs money.ON the other hand a ATV trail would make money.the campground wouldbe full most weekends poeple = $ The rialroad would be a plaything for a few.

Why would anyone want to come to Clayberry to waste money? No stores, no Wal Mart, no beer joints, no topless or bottomless bar and not a lot of game to hunt as poaching is the county tradition and hunting season never ends.
Instead of 50 families moving here to have to go somewhere else to shop and like the rest of us living here only paying taxes into the county, going to Oak Hill, Summersville or Charleston to spend the paychecks is not going to make much difference.
A Wal Mart, would drag extra money and jobs into the county but never expect that to take place. An ATV trail might bring in a few city dwellers but the ones that live here and bought ATV's already own all the land and all the trails already or at least they think they own the land.

The people who live in Wallback dont shop in clay any way.So 50 more to shop else where.

Yep thanks Pete and Link a ball field is more important then the familys that have no water service in the communitys across the county. Like everything else in Clayberry only a select few will benefit from a commode at the ball games, after all Clayberry's image as an up to date place to be is more important then the people living in outlying communitys.

it seems that the ray james note has been successfully ignored, and not disclosed. a typical freemason act. you can bet there is something being hidden from the public. however they have the influence and power to do these things. As, in my opinion they did in the , PRESIDENT JOHN KENNEDY, assination. When I think of this, MY, picture of american society and compare it to an imagenary picture of Rose in a thong, can't decide which is the worse. How bout CB wonder how she'd look in a throng.
