And steal dogs and money in this county and not go to jail.

there's two sidesto this dog story. in reading andys' info it wouldappear that trhis/these dogs were running loose. as i recall dogs are supposed to be kept penned or on a leash in the county. now i was in the court house this tuesday morn about 10:30 or 11:00 o'clock and a person who appeared very similar to mr. mcghee. he appeared at that time to purchase 3 dog licenses and gave a good description of the dogs. Mrs Tucker waited on mr Mcghee if my eyes were correct. now why were Mr. Mcghees dogs not licensed prior to this incident.

and again how could the dog have been stolen on sunday if it was seen the following Wed. in Elkhurst.

Dogs running loose are fair game for the hunter as target practice. If a dog is not registered there is nothing anyone can do about it if it comes up missing. Been there done that and almost went to jail over a fine chritian neighbor running over it on a dirt road rougher then a railroad track but yet it was a pure and simple accident that his foot was on the pedal and held firmly to the floor until the dog was ran over and killed.
Also a dog has to be registerd and taxes have to be paid on them before the law can do anything about it. Hopefully the Pit Bull is buzzard bait by now as it should not be allowed to own here or anywhere in the state. Remember Travis Woods and the mauling he took from a pit bull pet? Remember how they were going to arrest his grandfather for killing the merciless beast?

it would simplify everthing if everyone was required to wear a GPS receiver and every 15 minutes was required to press a button to record their GPS coordinates at that time.

And just why don't they have a class on how to train the dumbest animal on the farm? Or why a woman can pile junk from the floor to the ceiling in a dozen different piles and yet if a man lays anything at all down its a no no and has to be in its place where ever that may be? Its only out of place when a man lays it down right? Maybe they could even have a class on how to think without being told every day. The one I would really like to see is the one that explains why a woman has to have fifty pairs of shoes or the one that says every trip to Wal Mart is a clothing buy out. Don't matter if the clothes fit or not just got to buy them whether they are needed or not. Or maybe you can explain why dishes after being washed can set in the drainer for a month drying or until they are used again. Or why a woman has to have cabinets all around the kitchen but yet can leave dishes, bowls and pans sitting everywhere or stacked on top the fridge? Do I need to list more?

Anon @ 10:31, it's simple. In every relationship, there's one who has it & one who wants it. The one who has it always has the upper hand.

So to speak.

Uh huh my thoughts exactly. Pierson will do just fine as a CCC and will do no worse then whats there now. May even listen to reason and accept the fact that he will be serving the people of the county not standing agaist them all the time on every issue that arises that will make him popular with the goats.

no person has a right to take another persons property or animals, that is called stealing and it is against the law. some peoples dogs and cats are as close as family members. if you steal you should be caught and jailed no matter who you are, the word is out and people are watching.

How about CCC adding a sur fee to all utilitys? Adding 911 Fees to your telephone bill. Creating jobs that are not advertised for the people in the county then hiring family members to fill those jobs. Changing addresses so no one knows where they live although they been there a lifetime. Selling information on people through 911 addresses. All these are against the people in this county and other counties. Continually raiseing property taxes of at least 3% per year affects anyone owning property here. Adding extra tax for out of county property owners. Letting coal companys dictate their own property taxes. Now blame that on the state tax department right? Each office in the court house has an association that lobbys the legislature every session to make the laws and most the laws are against the citizens of the county. Need more?

i wonder: DOG GONE/ Mr McGhee apparently didn't value his dogs enough to license them till this issue came up perhaps he is short of money like many others. still we try to comply with the laws.
Now had these dogs had their shots as required by law. [i think] if not, why not? I am aware of the many dogs the humane society handles. I wonder, where do they get the money to pay their expenses. Do we have a licensed veternarian in Clay co.

How can we get into modern day activities when the goat sexers keep running the independent persons out. you might say they have a sophisticated and subtle protetion racket going. I remember Mr Haynes was continually vandalized until he joined the FREEMASONS. if i remember right the vandalism stopped immediately. now how could this be unless the vandals were controlled by our local lodge.

it pays to keep your eyes open and your ear to the ground.

at any time the lone stranger may come galloping, galloping to straighten things up.

I have a solution to your animal problem: All the animal owners could just keep their animals confined to their OWN property lines and not let them run amuck throughout the county to annoy the neighbors! Wouldn't that be refreshing? It is a no-brainer. Not to mention that the neighbors who don't own animals wouldn't have to step in feces every time they walk outside. It is called RESPECT for your neighbors.

As aforementioned PETs are sometimes like Family members but yet we turn them loose to annoy whoever or whatever. As for myself I have many types of PETs and all are kept behind a fence on my own land and do not trample on the rites of my neighbors. When my dogs are loose I try to be in the vicinity that they are running as I hunt them which they are bred to do.
I know some people care less what their dogs or cats or other pets do as long as they do it where they don't have to be or where they have to take responsibility for. If you ask them to chain their dog then the crying begins about how in humane it is to cage or tie an animal.
Now which would you rather do tie them or keep them behind a fence or just have me tie them? When I tie one up for you it is usually with 00 Buckshot yep thats double 0 Buck. It ties them permanently and they won't cost you one red cent to feed them or will it cause your neighbors any more trouble of stepping in S**t everytime they venture into their yard.
If you have it tie it, fence it, tax it and license it but most of all KEEP IT AT HOME and out of my yard. Simple solution to McGhees problem and a lot of other people who think their pets (family members) are perfect and never tread on others rights of ownership.
