I heard a rumor that no matter when you look, there's drugs being bought and sold in the parking lot of Foodland. Several people have called Randy to report it and nothing is done. You'd think that as much time as all the uniforms spend at Subway and Ginos, at least Foodland would be clean.

Outside of the blogs, I've only heard good things about him. Can't say that's ever been the case with any of our former law enforcers. Now the deputies are a different story. Well, a select few of them. OK, so really only one of them ...

I've always believed everybody should get 2 votes - one for & one against. I'd venture to guess that in our ever-changing world, that might actually be an option someday, as the losers continue to lose & get enough lobbyists in the door to change the rules ...

What you need to do is sit in the courtroom when these pukes aree brought to trial and see who sets them back out on the public.

Hey Rose, being since your in the mix here, gota question for you. Who's the one more legally in trouble, the person paying for the vote or the person taking the money.
 

The keyword there is "legally" - that'd be the vote buyer. He's the one with the most to lose if/when he gets caught buying votes. Do you remember all the trouble down in Logan County a few years back? The sheriff & the county clerk & the county attorney & all sorts of people ended up in jail for election fraud. Then, a year or so later, it was Lincoln County cleaning house.

The joke's on the buyer, though, when the seller accepts whatever he's been offered, then gets into that little booth all alone & votes for whoever the heck he wants to. Plus, as a seller with just one vote to sell, there's nothing to stop one from selling that one vote to 100 different potential buyers.

So legalities aside, morally, they're both losers & therein lies the bigger issue. If you're buying or selling votes, you're not the least bit concerned with anything moral. Which sadly, will probably get you elected.

What p*sses me off is that when nobody offers to buy my vote, they're depriving me of the opportunity to turn their sorry behinds in. I hate deprivation.

Why should the CCC (taxpaupers) pay for every dead horse thats brought up in the county. Do you people have a water bill to pay? Where does the pay for profit water company or PSD's(politically correct) use their monthly water fees? Why should we the taxpayers be clipped twice by the water plant? Doesn't the PSC increased water (to the second highest in the state) rates tell you anything? Somebody has got some sticky fingers and will be even stickier when they get more money dumped in their lap.

I wonder how much Leggs welding co. or Goulds electric could milk the county for. Foodland and Rite Aide or the Dollar Stores should apply for some help also. Piersons Lumber was shut down some days last week maybe they could apply for an extra million or so to bail them out also. Everybody in the county should show up at the CCC meeting and demand their share of the big pie. I spent over $300.00 dollars at Wal Mart this month for groceries, maybe they will give me an extra $1000.00 because I am now short of money and can't go shopping again this month.

The water company is supposed to be non-profit. Meaning they should only take in enough to meet their requirements and put some back for emergencies and break even every month.

They should give them the money to hire someone that knows their ass from a hole in a ground to find the leak. Then maybe us customers wouldn't have 150 water bills every month.
